Job Description
- Environment
- The web author works on new and existing College websites at their own workstation in an office, or off campus.
- This position works directly with faculty, staff, and students to develop and maintain websites.
- This position performs work with little supervision.
- This position will be required to keep some office hours.
- Hours
- The web author can work 20+ hours a week
- Work continues between semesters.
- Sometimes additional work must happen at night and/or on weekends on an as-needed basis.
- Type of Work
- Projects are identified and planned by the supervisor.
- The developer writes and tests the website according to written specifications.
Job Skills
- Webpage layout design skills including native html, CSS, etc
- Graphic design ability with experience in graphics programs like Photoshop preferred
- A good "eye" for design
